What does your flag look like? What do the pictures and colors represent?


The kentucky State was athourized on March 26,1918. What the pictures symbolize is there were two men, a pionner and a stateman, and they sybolize "together we stand divided we fall." The colors sybolize things also. The blue means the common wealth of Kentuky and the golden thin circle around it is in Kentucky's colors. Our colors are blue, yellow and green. The words are written in those colors.

How did Kentucky get its name?

The reason why our state's name is Kentucky is back then there was a Native American named Ken-tuck and that meant "black forest" and in Kentucky there is a lot of forests and woods so they named it Kentucky.

What is New Jersey Climate Type?

New Jersey's climate type changes throughout seasons. In July the temperature averages 70 degrees. In January, the temperature averages to about 30 degrees. We get 40-50 inches of rain a year. ( All temperatures are in degrees fahrenheit)

The team names are the Nets and the Devils. The sports are basketball and hockey. The Nets play basketball. The Devils play hockey.
