What is Kentucky's state bird?

Hey New Jersey, let me tell you about my state bird, the Cardinal. The Cardinal became the state bird of Kentucky in 1926. Six other states besides Kentucky use the Cardinal as their state bird. The Cardinal does not fly south in the winter, however they prefer areas with mild winters. The male Cardinal bird has a bright, red body with a black mask. The male Cardinal bird is much prettier than the female.
